Overband Magnetic Separator (SM-700ZN / SM-800ZN / SM-1000ZN)
Description of Use:Overband Magnetic Separator (MAGNETIC series) is applied to loose materials to automatic removal of ferrous impurities in the process of waste recycling. Apart from metal recovery the Separator has a protective function for equipment in further steps of recycling process. They are usually installed on top of transport conveyors.

The massive construction of magnetic separator is made entirely of non-magnetic steel. It is equipped with magnetic block constructed on the basis of permanent magnets, ferrite or neodymium magnets with line magnetic field. The magnetic block is sealed and covered in shell. The separator is equipped with a belt with cleats. The belt in standard version is made of thin material that is highly resistant to cuts. At the same time it maintains magnetic permeability. The ellipse-shaped drive and return drums increase belt tracking position. The separator is designed with fixed handles for the installation of the device on standalone frame. In a standard version the separator is equipped with an electrical system including ON/OFF switch and safety switch.

Setup types on belt conveyor:
The overband magnetic separator is equipped with magnetic block, around which cleaning belt with mounted cleats rotates. The magnetic block generates strong magnetic field and attracts iron particles. The machine rejects the particles outside according to the movement of the belt.
Distance to conveyor as well as separator dimensions are significant in separation process. The closer the alignment, the closer the magnetic field is to the iron particles and the separation result is better. For proper separation process the user needs to care for the surrounding area. The components of conveyors or vibratory feeders within the magnetic field range shall be made of non-magnetic materials.
