Drum Magnetic Separator (SBZ-340 / SBZ-640)
Description of Use:The Drum Magnetic Separator is applied to automatic removal of iron particles, especially low magnetic ones (paramagnetism) in the process of waste recycling. It is usually mounted as standalone device beneath belt conveyor chute and used for loose material as third step of magnetic separation.
Description of Operation:The rotating drum transports material on a constant magnetic core. The magnetic core attracts ferromagnetic pieces to the rotating drum, the drum cleats pull material out of the magnetic field, the attracted material is rejected outside the splitter and the non-magnetic material drops freely.
Design Description:The SBZ Magnetic Drum Separator is equipped with a magnetic drum WNZ type with a magnetic core based on NdFeb magnets, all sealed in stainless steel shell. The SBZ magnetic core is fitted in the middle of a diameter and generates a strong magnetic field which affects even low magnetic particles. The SBZ drum is powered by electric motor and equipped with guides and four cleats. The Machine hopper is made of stainless steel with a regulated 3-step material-breaking system. The whole system locked in practical housing and designed to connect with dust collector. Regulated splitter is located underneath the drum and the whole separator is mounted on a stable frame.
