Air Separators ZIGZAG
Description of use:The ZIGZAG type air separator is a device designed to purify materials in the waste recycling process. The air separator separates light from heavy fractions by using a pneumatic method and works with a wide range of waste materials of size 0-150mm. This type of Air Separators is used for pre-shredded, frayed or very small materials. Thanks to our unique design, the separator has the ability to adjust in many points that are important for the purity of received fractions.
Zigzag type separators are used in many areas:- the weight classification of metal granulates
- purification of shredded scrap from light fraction (foils, plastics, paper)
- removal of the volatile fraction during recycling of WEEE
- purification of plastics, rubber
- treatment of municipal waste, glass
- dust removal
The ZIGZAG separator consists of individual components mounted on a common supporting structure. The ZIGZAG module is installed in the first part. The unit has an inspection hole and adjustments of the material flow slot. Second part contains a cyclone for the discharge of light fractions. Under the cyclone there is a variable speed rotary dispenser for the ejection of separated materials. On the top of the construction there is located fan with electronic speed control. The ZigZag unit is designed partially for loading and unloading by belt conveyors. The Separator is equipped with control panel with safety system.

THE ZŁOMIARZE ZIGZAG AIR SEPARATOR LINE IS DESIGNED ON THE BASIS OF YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, IT ALLOWS FOR SAFE WORK IN DIFFICULT CONDITIONS!
Additional Equipment:- Hardox anti-abrasive pads for ZIGZAG module
- Hardox anti-abrasive pads for rotary dispenser
- Dust collector with air filter
Based on experience and ongoing research in our laboratories, we are able to provide you with separators individually adapted to the specificity of the separated material. The ZIG ZAG Separators are manufactured upon individual order.

The material delivered by the conveyor belt falls into the ZIGZAG module. The material is gravity-guided towards the dump, hitting the walls of the module on the way. The lower part of the unit air is forced in the opposite direction to the material flow. The flowing air raises the lightweight material. The flowing air lifts light fractions upwards, heavy fractions fall free to the bottom discharge. Separated light materials are transported by the air stream to the cyclone. Air expansion is taking place in the Cyclon Unit system, and light materials reach the collection container through rotary dispenser.
